Sporty Girls is an organization outlet for African-American girls age 8-18 to build awareness and to become active and successful in non-traditional sports. Sporty Girls will allow young women to be exposed to sports such as golf, swimming, soccer, volleyball and tennis while building and developing good character and lifestyle skills.

The mission of the organization is to cultivate, enrich and challenge young women to participate in non-traditional sports, while developing and fostering lifestyle skills.
Goals
To make the participants aware of scholarship opportunities available through their dedication and excellence in the listed sports. To provide informational seminars and workshops on teamwork, team relationship skills and daily lifestyle skills. To expose the youth to sports outside the realm of basketball, softball, and track and field. To promote student-athleticism to the highest regard.
Objective
To implement quarterly camps that will encompass learning golf, swimming, soccer, volleyball, and tennis. To assist in researching and receiving scholarship monies for athletic achievement as well as academic. To promote collaborative efforts to strengthen and encourage familial support of the youth in their mission to be successful in the listed sports. To be of service to the youth in making the transition from elementary school to middle school, middle school to high school, and from high school to college.
